Terms of Service

These Terms are the agreement between you and RidgeAI. They cover your account, how billing works, what you can and can't do with the Service, and the limits of an AI drafting tool. By using RidgeAI, you agree to them.

The one thing to remember. RidgeAI drafts insurance supplements and related documents for you, but it is a tool — not legal, insurance, or professional advice. AI output can be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying every document before you rely on it or submit it to a carrier.

01 Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you," "your," or the "Customer") and RidgeAI, operated by POCO LLC ("RidgeAI," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the RidgeAI website or application (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company, and "you" includes that company.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.

02 The Service

RidgeAI is an AI-assisted platform that helps roofing and storm-restoration contractors prepare insurance supplements, denial responses, reinspection requests, letters of intent, and related documents from the claim materials you provide. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

03 Your account

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notify us promptly at privacy@ridgeai.org if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
  • One account is for one business. Don't share a single account across separate companies without our written agreement.

04 Free trial & billing

Free trial

New accounts include one free claim file (a lifetime trial, not a monthly allowance). A single claim file may produce multiple documents — an initial supplement, a denial response, a reinspection request, and a letter of intent all count as one claim file. After your free claim file is used, a paid subscription is required to continue.

Subscriptions & usage

Paid plans are billed monthly through our payment processor, Stripe. Each plan includes a set number of claim files per billing period. The included count is measured against your billing period, not the calendar month.

Overage

If you exceed your plan's included claim files, additional claim files are billed at your plan's overage rate, up to your plan's overage cap. For monthly plans, overage is added to your next invoice. By subscribing, you authorize these charges.

Renewals, changes & refunds

  • Subscriptions renew automatically each period until cancelled.
  • You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until then.
  • Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We don't provide prorated refunds for partial periods.
  • We may change prices or plans on a going-forward basis with reasonable notice. Continued use after a price change means you accept it.
  • If a payment fails, we may suspend access until the balance is paid.

05 Your content

"Your Content" means the claim documents, files, and information you upload or enter, and the output the Service generates for you. You retain all ownership of Your Content.

You grant RidgeAI a limited license to host, process, and transmit Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you (including sending relevant content to our AI provider to generate your output), and to improve the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.

You represent and warrant that you have all rights and permissions necessary to upload Your Content, including any consent required from homeowners, policyholders, or other third parties whose information appears in your claim documents. You — not RidgeAI — are responsible for the lawfulness of the data you submit.

06 Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to submit fraudulent, false, or misleading insurance claims.
  • Upload content you don't have the right to share, or that infringes anyone's rights.
  • Attempt to access another customer's data, or probe, scan, or breach our security.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the Service except as allowed by law.
  • Resell or sublicense the Service, or use it to build a competing product.
  • Overload, disrupt, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Use the Service to generate output that is unlawful, defamatory, or harmful.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

07 AI output & no professional advice

The Service uses AI to draft documents. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation. RidgeAI does not guarantee that any supplement, estimate, line item, or document is correct, complete, or that a carrier will approve it.

RidgeAI is a drafting tool. It does not provide legal advice, insurance advice, public adjusting services, engineering judgments, or any other licensed professional service. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, editing, and approving every document before relying on it, submitting it to a carrier, or using it in any claim. Nothing in the Service creates an adjuster-client, attorney-client, or other professional relationship.

08 Intellectual property

The Service — including its software, design, text, and branding — is owned by RidgeAI and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service during your subscription, subject to these Terms. We welcome feedback, and you grant us the right to use any feedback you share without obligation to you.

09 Third-party services

The Service relies on and may integrate with third-party services (for example, Stripe for payments, Anthropic for AI processing, Google for sign-in, and any integrations you connect such as AccuLynx or CompanyCam). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and RidgeAI is not responsible for them. If you supply third-party API keys, you're responsible for complying with that provider's terms.

10 Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the Service in a way that creates risk or legal exposure for us or others. On termination, your right to use the Service ends. We will handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy; you are responsible for exporting any documents you wish to keep before your account closes.

11 Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that output will be accurate or meet your requirements. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

12 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RidgeAI and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost revenue, lost claim recoveries, denied or underpaid claims, or loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service — even if we've been advised of the possibility.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US $100.

13 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RidgeAI and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right — including any claim related to the documents you submit to a carrier or to the homeowner/claim data you upload.

14 Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You and RidgeAI agree that any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Williamson County, Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.

15 Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
